Jenny was a volunteer and good friend since 1983. A Chincoteague Island native and a gifted naturalist and artist, a mutual love of peregrines brought us together and her contributions to our surveys over the years are too numerous to mention. In the field her keen eyes and knowledge of the island were assets we treasured. Jenny was the commissioned artist of a Greenland Peregrine Falcon Survey painting and set of limited edition prints of a peregrine at its Greenland eyrie. Her talents in the kitchen gave us strength to endure the rigors of daunting field seasons. She lost a courageous battle with breast cancer, and we will forever miss her wit and wisdom. Our homes will continue to be graced by her beautiful works, reminding us of a true friend who left us far too soon.
